PHASE 1
Participants are assigned a mentor for individualized assistance throughout the action. Mentors will be selected from organizations with considerable experience in providing support to migrants and asylum seekers.
Profiling and skills assessment using the Skills Profile Tool for Third Country Nationals. This is an interactive and multilingual tool designed to identify valuable individual skills, possibly acquired in different contexts.
Elaboration of an Individualized Integration Plan, shared and agreed upon between participants and their mentors.

PHASE 2
Language and civic education workshops. Participants will be encouraged to enroll in existing language courses for asylum-seekers and refugees in Piedmont. They will benefit from additional workshops in CAS on “language for work” (functional literacy) to gain insights into the Italian workplace culture and language (20 hours).
Focus groups on recognition of formal and informal skills. Semi-structured, in-depth interviews and group discussions (reconnaissance des acquis) aimed at increasing individual motivation, self-esteem, and assertiveness.

PHASE 3
Vocational training. The main innovation compared to existing alternatives will be the activation of courses tailored on the local labor market demand in Piedmont and the individual competences and aspirations emerged from Task 13 and Task 15.
